I'm not sure who all has seen the clip of Jake Shimabukuro on Conan, but I must say that it was great to see. Overall I am personally not a huge fan of his musical styling; however, I am a fan of his virtuousity (he makes the ukulele sing). What really enthused me was Conan's response to his performance. A great ego boost for the ukulele world in general I would say. If you haven't seen a clip of it I would recommend "youtubein" it to get a look. April 26th, Jake Shimabukuro will be making an appearance at the Old Town School of Folk Music here in Chicago and I hope to attend. I know that there are already a few people on this forum planning to go, so if we all want to get together and have a few brews and a view of a great ukulele player that would be fun.
