About Me

I was given my first uke by my parents many years ago, but only really started playing in 2007, when I treated myself to a little blue Mahalo for my birthday.

Lately, I've been making my own ukes. So far I've completed an electric uke (which I call the Tuque), and a cookie tin uke - and I have a couple more in the works. You can see more about these home-made ukes at my website: http://web.me.com/mjgilbert/Ukuleles/Mikes_Ukes.ht ml
