    Hello peeps,

    I am completely new to the concept of playing an instrument , The Ukulele is my first and although I have been learning chords and fingerpicking on my ukulele ( i can just about grasp the concept now), my strumming has been left behind somewhat and I wondered if anybody had some tips/techniques about how to improve my strumming and learn various styles of strums .

    Any advice or suggestions would be most welcome!

    I hate the sound of guitar picks on a ukulele (except on steel strings). I'm not all that keen on felt pics either. Both restrict your strumming far too much and sound worse rath
